Issue a combined donation receipt

Representatives and donation receipts

A combined donation receipt (Sammelbestätigung) certifies several donations from the same person within one calendar year. It follows the official model (amtliches Muster), which is why it's always in German. The first page shows the total amount and the period, and the annex (Anlage) lists each individual donation with its date and amount.

How it works

  1. Step 1:
Open Reports in the Studio and click Combined donation receipt at the top.
  2. Step 2:
    Choose the year.
  3. Step 3:
Find the person's donations, ideally using their bank statement or payment slips. You can narrow down the list with Amount and Reference.
  4. Step 4:
Tick the donations. At the bottom, you'll see how many donations you've selected and what the total is. Click Next.
  5. Step 5:
Enter the name and address and tick both boxes.
  6. Step 6:
Check the combined donation receipt with View draft. Then click Issue final receipt.
  7. Step 7:
Download it with Download combined donation receipt and give it to the donor.

What the Studio checks

  • A combined donation receipt covers at least two donations, all from the same calendar year.
  • The list only shows paid donations that aren't yet included in a valid receipt. This means no donation can be covered by two receipts.
  • Anyone issuing a combined donation receipt needs the “Owner” or “Finance” role and access to all screens.

After issuing

In Reports, the number of the combined donation receipt appears next to each donation it includes. Via the menu with the three dots, you can download it again or revoke it. A revocation applies to all donations in the combined donation receipt. Afterwards, you can issue new receipts for the donations, individually or combined again.
