Choose the receipt procedure

Representatives and donation receipts

In the Receipt step, you decide how your donation receipts (Zuwendungsbestätigungen) are signed. With Digital, a PDF with the stored signature is created. With Handwritten, you print each receipt and sign it by hand. Digital is suggested.

Digital

The Studio creates each receipt as a PDF with the signature embedded. You notify the tax office (Finanzamt) of this procedure once.

  1. Step 1:
    Choose Digital.
  2. Step 2:
Click Create notification. The Studio downloads a ready-made letter to your tax office, with a cover letter, a sample receipt and a description of the procedure.
  3. Step 3:
Send the letter to your tax office. The Studio doesn't send it for you.
  4. Step 4:
Under Notified on, enter the date on which the notification was sent to the tax office.
  5. Step 5:
    Click Finish.

Handwritten

  1. Step 1:
    Choose Handwritten.
  2. Step 2:
    Click Finish.

You then print each receipt and sign it by hand before handing it over. In this case, the Studio doesn't require a notification to the tax office. A stored signature is still needed.

If you change the procedure later via the overview under Representatives, the button is called Save.

The sample

The page shows a sample of your receipt with the stamp “MUSTER” (sample). It reflects your choice even before you save. A click opens it full size in a new tab. Below it is the Next receipt number, for example SB-2026-0001. The numbers count up without gaps per community and year.

If the signature for the digital procedure is still missing, the step points this out. Go to signature takes you straight there.
