Choose the time source: automatic or manual
Prayer times either come automatically from Diyanet for your location every day, or you enter them yourself. Here's how to choose and switch the time source.
Set the location for automatic times
Automatic prayer times apply to a place from Diyanet's location directory. Here's how to choose the country, region and city and change them later.
Enter prayer times yourself
In “Manual” mode, you enter the times day by day for the current month and the next two. Here's how it works and what to watch out for.
Why do our times differ from other calendars?
Automatic times come unchanged from Diyanet. Other calendars and apps follow other rules. That's why the times differ, often noticeably in summer.
Change the prayer names on the screen
In the Studio, the prayers have names in the Studio's language; the screen shows the names your community sets. Here's how to change them under “Names on the screen”.
Which prayers does the screen show?
Which prayers appear depends on your community's umbrella organisation. This article also explains why the board doesn't show sunrise.
Why does the screen show “--:--” instead of a time?
“--:--” means there's no prayer time for today. Usually no time source has been chosen, or in “Manual” mode, today's entry is missing.
Are the prayer times correct without internet?
Yes. Every screen stores the prayer times for the coming weeks and shows them correctly even without a connection, right past midnight.
