Enter prayer times yourself
Prayer timesIn Manual mode, you decide every prayer time yourself. The screens show exactly what you enter. So enter all six times for every day, including sunrise. Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat communities enter the five daily prayers and, on Fridays, the Friday prayer as well.
How to enter times
- Step 1: In the Studio, open Prayer times. Manual must be selected at the top.
- Step 2: Choose the month. You can choose the current month or the next two.
- Step 3: Type the times into the fields, for example 05:30. The Studio adds the colon for you as you type.
- Step 4: Click Save in the bar at the bottom. Discard undoes any unsaved entries.
The bar shows what hasn't been saved yet, for example “Changed: October (3 days)”. The Studio points out an invalid time when you save.
Helpful features
- View: show past days, show only empty days, compact rows, highlight Fridays and weekends, and hide individual columns.
- Clear times: Tick individual days, click Clear times and confirm with Clear. The Studio saves this immediately.
- Reset month: Use ⋯ to delete all entries for a month. This can't be undone.
- Save as CSV: downloads the times you've entered as a file, for example as a backup.
What applies today
The Today band at the top of the page shows at a glance what applies today: the next prayer with a countdown and the day's times. If it says “Nothing has been entered for today.”, today's entry is missing.
When the screens show the times
The screens pick up saved times automatically. This can take a few minutes. The previews in the Studio show the new times immediately.
