Set the location for automatic times

For automatic prayer times, the Studio needs to know where your mosque is. You choose the place from Diyanet's location directory. The times then arrive fresh for this place every day.

Set or change the location

1. 1Step 1:
   In the Studio, open Prayer times.
2. 2Step 2:
   Under Setup, in the Location row, click Set or Change.
3. 3Step 3:
   Select the Country, then the Region, then the City. Each list only appears once the previous one has been chosen. You can search in every list.
4. 4Step 4:
   Click Save.

The page then shows the times for the chosen place. When you set things up for the first time, the same selection appears right at the top of the page.

Good to know

• In Germany, the Region is the federal state, for example North Rhine-Westphalia. You choose the city in the third list.
• If your town isn't in the list, choose the nearest one.
• The time zone follows the country. You don't need to set it.
• The change between summer and winter time is already included in Diyanet's times.

How to tell when the times were last updated

The top of the page shows where the times come from, for example “Diyanet · Köln · Updated 04:00”. “Updated” is the time at which the times were last synchronised with Diyanet. Below that, the Today band shows the day's times, and below that, Coming days shows the following days.
