Are the prayer times correct without internet?
Prayer timesYes. Every screen keeps the prayer times for the next few weeks stored on the device. If the internet goes down, it keeps showing the right times for the day and moves on to the new day by itself at midnight.
How far ahead the stored times reach
- With automatic times, the screen loads the times for about a month ahead. Every connection refreshes the stored times.
- In Manual mode, the screen can only store what you have already entered, at most about a month ahead. So enter the times early.
- Once the stored times run out, the screen shows “--:--” until it's back online.
After a restart
Even after the device restarts without internet, the screen shows the stored times and the most recently loaded template.
What else applies without internet
Without internet, card donations aren't possible, and changes from the Studio only arrive once the screen is connected again. More on this in What happens if the internet goes down?
