Change the prayer names on the screen
Prayer timesIn the Studio, the prayers are called Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. What your screens show is up to you, under Names on the screen. Common names based on your community's umbrella organisation are set by default.
How to change the names
- Step 1: In the Studio, open Prayer times.
- Step 2: Under Setup, in the Names on the screen row, click Edit.
- Step 3: Next to each prayer, enter the name that should appear on the screen, for example “Morning prayer”. A name can be up to 40 characters long.
- Step 4: Click Save.
Leaving a field empty restores the default name. It appears in grey in the empty field.
Where the names appear
- On the prayer times board, on the prayer cards and in the countdown after “Next prayer”.
- The names stay exactly as you enter them, even if you change the language of the screens.
- A single prayer card can have its own name in the Editor under Prayer name. It then applies to that card only.
