Export donations as a CSV file
ReportsYou can download the donations for a period as a CSV file. You can open the file with Excel or LibreOffice, for example.
How it works
- Step 1: In the Studio, open Reports.
- Step 2: Choose the period and, if you like, a campaign and a status.
- Step 3: Click Export CSV.
The file is called something like “donations-2026-09-01-to-2026-09-29.csv”.
What the file contains
The file contains all donations in the period that match your filters, not just the ten that are visible. Each donation is on its own row with these columns:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Date | The day on which the donation was started. |
| Time | The time that goes with it. |
| Campaign | What the donation was for. |
| Screen | At which screen it was made. |
| Status | For example Paid or Cancelled. |
| Amount | The amount with a decimal point, for example 20.00. |
| Currency | For example EUR. |
| Reference | SumUp's transaction code if there is one, otherwise a separate ID. |
| Donation receipt | The receipt number if one has been issued, with “(revoked)” added for a revoked one. Only “Owner” and “Finance” get this column. |
The columns are separated by semicolons, as German spreadsheet programs expect.
