Reset a forgotten password

If you've forgotten your password, request a link on the sign-in page. You use this link to set a new password.

How it works

1. 1Step 1:
   Open the sign-in page and click Forgot password?
2. 2Step 2:
   Enter your Email and click Send link.
3. 3Step 3:
   Open the email “Passwort zurücksetzen” (reset password) and click Passwort zurücksetzen in it.
4. 4Step 4:
   Under Set a new password, enter the new password in New password and Confirm password. Click Change password.
5. 5Step 5:
   The page shows “Password changed”. Click Go to sign-in and sign in with the new password.

SadaqaNow then sends you the email “Ihr Passwort wurde geändert” (your password has been changed) as confirmation. If you didn't reset your password yourself, set a new one straight away via Forgot password? and write to us at info@sadaqa-now.de.

Good to know

• The link is valid for 30 minutes and only once. If it has expired or has already been used, the page shows “This link is no longer valid. You can request a new one.” In that case, request a new link via Forgot password?
• The new password has at least 8 characters, upper- and lower-case letters and at least one digit.
• The sign-in page never reveals whether an account exists for an address. It always shows the same confirmation. If no email arrives, check your spam folder and the spelling of the address.
• SadaqaNow doesn't send more than three links an hour to one address.
• After the reset, you're signed out on all devices. Remembered devices will also ask for the code again next time.
