Accept an invitation
Team and permissionsYou accept an invitation with the Einladung annehmen (Accept invitation) button in the email. The only important thing is that you sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to.
How it works
- Step 1: Open the email “Einladung in das Team von …” (Invitation to the … team) and click Einladung annehmen (Accept invitation).
- Step 2: If you're not signed in, the sign-in page opens. Sign in with the address the invitation was sent to.
- Step 3: If you don't have an account yet, click Sign up and create one with this address. At the end, Continue to invitation takes you back.
- Step 4: Check the community, the role and Valid until. Then click Accept invitation.
The community then appears in your list under Communities. Go to community opens it directly.
Without the link in the email
The Studio also shows pending invitations. If you don't belong to any community yet, the invitation appears straight away on the first page. Otherwise, you'll find it there under Pending items. Click Accept.
Decline an invitation
Click Decline and confirm. You then won't join the community. If you want to join later after all, you'll need a new invitation.
“This invitation is no longer open”
The invitation has already been accepted, declined or withdrawn, or it has expired. Or perhaps you're signed in with a different account. The Studio shows you which address you're currently signed in with. Use Sign in with another account to switch accounts.
