What can I pay with at the screen?
For donorsYou pay at the SumUp card terminal that belongs to the screen. You hold your card or phone to the terminal. The screen doesn't accept cash.
By card or phone
After you've chosen an amount, the screen asks: “Hold your card or phone to the card terminal.” The terminal then shows you what to do. If it asks for your PIN, enter it on the terminal. The screen itself never asks for card details.
You can pay with your phone if it has a contactless payment function set up.
Which cards are accepted
The terminal is a SumUp Solo. SumUp decides exactly which cards it accepts. If a card doesn't work, the screen shows “Payment not completed”. You can then try again with another card.
Donating cash
That isn't possible at the screen. If you'd like to donate cash, ask your community.
