Is my payment secure?
For donorsOnly SumUp, the payment service behind the card terminal, processes your card details. You don't enter any card details on the screen. SadaqaNow doesn't process card details.
What happens where
- The screen starts the payment with just the amount and the donation purpose.
- The SumUp terminal reads your card. If needed, you also enter your PIN there.
- In the Studio, your community sees the amount, time, donation purpose and screen for your donation. It doesn't see your name or your card details there.

What to look out for
- Only enter your PIN on the terminal.
- The screen never asks for card details.
- If the screen shows “The confirmation is taking longer. Please do not pay again.”, don't pay a second time. The result is still being checked.
- If you're unsure whether a payment has been taken from your account, check your account transactions or ask your community.
