Design the donation pages

When someone taps donate on the screen, the screen guides them through the donation pages: Donation start, then Campaigns or Local donation, followed by Amount and Remark, depending on their choice. The structure of these pages is fixed so that donating always works the same way. You can still adjust their look and layout.

What you can change on the donation pages

You don't add new blocks here. That's why the left-hand side shows Design, Layers and Donations instead of the blocks.

• Size and position: You can move the elements of the page, such as the entry cards or the number pad, and change their size. They can't be deleted or duplicated.
• Background: If nothing is selected, choose a Background colour, a Custom colour or an Image under Design. The background applies to all donation pages at once. Templates from the gallery already come with the background of their main page.
• Entry cards on Donation start: Select a card. Under Colours, switch between Card and Button and choose a colour for each. The text adapts to the contrast automatically.
• Campaigns: Select the campaign list and set under Campaigns per row how many appear side by side, from 1 to 4.

The SadaqaNow logo is in the same place on all donation pages. It is fixed in place and can't be changed. The area with the logo stays clear: cards, the campaign list, the number pad and the keyboard start below it, even with Full screen. If you drag them higher, they stop at this line. Only the Back button may sit at the top next to the logo.

Card text and images

On Donation start, Campaigns and Local donation, the Donations section with Manage cards is on the right. There you manage, for example, the title, description, image and button text of the entry cards. If you don't have permission to do this, it says “View only”.

Whether an entry card can be tapped depends on your donations. If no local donation is switched on, the “Local donation” card appears faded with “Not available” and doesn't respond. If no campaign is switched on, the “Our campaigns” card shows “No campaigns” accordingly. How to switch on the local donation is explained in Set up the local donation.

If a donation page is empty

If a donation page says “Not editable yet”, the template comes from an older version. In that case, start with a template from the gallery; it comes with the donation pages. See Use a template from the gallery.
