Does the invoice include VAT?
Billing and pricingNo. SadaqaNow is a small business (Kleinunternehmer) under section 19 of the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz). That's why we don't charge VAT (Umsatzsteuer). The amounts in the Studio and on the invoice are final amounts.
What the invoice says
At the foot of every invoice is the sentence “Gemäß § 19 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer berechnet.” (No VAT is charged under section 19 UStG.) It also shows SadaqaNow's name, address and VAT ID (USt-IdNr.).
Your community's details on the invoice
You enter your community's billing name and address on the payment page when you start the subscription, and a VAT ID too if you wish. You can change these details later under Settings › Billing with Payment details. For more, see How can I pay, and how do I change the payment method?.

- When do I pay for the first time?Only after your community has been approved. The owner then starts the subscription and pays for the first month. After that, payment is taken monthly.
- How can I pay, and how do I change the payment method?You pay by card, PayPal or SEPA Direct Debit. You change the payment method and invoice details under Settings › Billing with the Payment details button.
- How much does an additional screen cost?Every screen beyond the base package costs €30 a month. You pay from the day you create it, at first pro rata until the next monthly billing.
- Cancel a screenIf you no longer need a screen, the owner cancels it. It keeps running until the end of the paid month, after which you pay €30 less a month.
- What happens if a payment fails?If a payment fails, the Studio shows a red banner with Pay now. As long as the payment is only overdue, your screens keep running.
