When do I pay for the first time?

You pay for the first time once your community has been approved and the owner starts the subscription. There are no costs before that, not even during the review.

The process

1. 1Step 1:
   You submit the registration. This costs nothing.
2. 2Step 2:
   We review it and approve it. You'll receive an email with the Abo starten (Start subscription) button.
3. 3Step 3:
   The owner pays for the first month of the base package on the payment page.
4. 4Step 4:
   Once the payment is confirmed, the community is active.

What happens next

After that, the subscription is charged every month. You can see the date of the next payment under Settings › Billing as “Next billing”. There's an invoice for every payment. To find out where they are, see Where can I find my invoices?.

And if we don't approve?

Then you pay nothing. Up to that point, you won't have provided a payment method or taken on any obligation to pay.
