Set the screen language and the return to the start page
ScreensYou set how your screens behave under Settings › Screens. The settings apply to all your community's screens. Every choice is saved immediately. Afterwards, “Saved” briefly appears in the row.
Screen language
Under Screen language, you choose German, Turkish or English. The screens show their own texts in this language. When a visitor taps “Donate now”, they first choose their language, and the donation flow then speaks it. Afterwards, the screen returns to your language.
Texts you write yourself stay exactly as you entered them. This also applies to the prayer names under Names on the screen.
Return to start page after
If someone taps donate on the screen and then walks away, the screen returns to the start page by itself after a while. Under Return to start page after, you choose how long it waits. You can choose between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. The default is 45 seconds.
- Ten seconds beforehand, the screen shows “Please touch the screen” with the remaining seconds. A touch resets the time.
- While a payment is in progress on the card terminal, the time doesn't count.
- When the screen returns to the start page, anything entered for the unfinished donation is discarded.
When the screens apply the setting
Screens that are online apply a change by themselves shortly afterwards. A screen that's currently offline applies it as soon as it's connected again.
Display mode
The same group contains the Display mode. It determines whether all screens show the same template or each one shows its own. More on this in Get a template onto your screens.
