Pair a screen
ScreensWhen pairing, you connect the device in the mosque to the screen you created in the Studio. To do this, you enter the pairing code on the device. The Studio shows it in the Add screen process.
Where to find the code
The code only appears in the Add screen process, in the Pair on the screen step. The screens overview doesn't show a code. If you've left the process, open Screens and click Continue setup on the screen.
Copy code puts the code on the clipboard, for example to send it to someone on site.
How to enter the code on the device
- Step 1: On the welcome page, tap Los geht’s (Let's go).
- Step 2: Tap the Kopplungscode (Pairing code) field and enter the eight characters. Leave out the hyphen. Upper and lower case don't matter.
- Step 3: Tap Bildschirm verbinden (Connect screen).
The Studio checks every few seconds whether the screen is connected. It then moves on to the Pair card terminal step by itself. The device shows “Terminal zuweisen.” (Assign terminal.) until a card terminal has been assigned.
How long the code is valid
- The code is valid for 30 minutes. The Studio shows until when, for example “Valid until 14:30”. In the last five minutes, it says “Expires in … min”.
- The code can only be used once.
- If it has expired, it says “The code has expired.” Then click Generate new code. A new code costs nothing.
What the messages on the device mean
