Why can't I change the core details any more?
Community and core detailsOn approval, we reviewed your community's core details. These are exactly the details that appear on your donation receipts (Zuwendungsbestätigungen). That's why you can no longer change them yourself afterwards. Our team takes care of any corrections.
These details are locked after approval
- Name of the community and username
- Legal name and legal form
- Registry court (Registergericht) and registration number (Registernummer)
- VAT ID (USt-IdNr.)
- Street, house number, postcode, town or city and country
- Umbrella organisation
That's why the Studio now only shows these details as read-only.
You can still change these details yourself
- Contact (email, phone, website) and Logo: in the Community section on the Representatives page. Here's how: Change contact details, website and logo.
- Tax number (Steuernummer) and Tax exemption notice (Freistellungsbescheid): in the Tax exemption notice step on the Representatives page, by “Owner” or “Finance”. Every change withdraws the confirmation of your charitable status (Steuerbegünstigung). Until we've reviewed it again, the Studio won't issue donation receipts. Have a locked detail corrected
- Step 1: Write to info@sadaqa-now.de. In the Community section of the Representatives page, the “Sadaqa team” link takes you straight to a prepared email.
- Step 2: State the name of your community, the detail that should change and the new value.
When our team changes a detail, the activity log shows “Core details changed by the Sadaqa team”.

- What is the community's username?The username is your community's short name with an @ in front, such as @koeln-ehrenfeld. It's part of your community's address in the Studio and is fixed after approval.
- What can be set in the community's settings?In Settings, you decide how your screens behave, download all data, open the activity log and manage ownership and leaving.
- See who changed what in the activity logThe activity log lists every change to your community with the time and person, from pairing a screen to a change of ownership. Entries are never deleted.
- Transfer ownership to another personWhen the board changes, you hand the community over to another member. That person confirms with a code that's sent to the community's contact email.
- Download all of the community's dataUnder Settings, the owner downloads a file with the community's details: core details, representatives, team, screens and subscription.
