Set donation amounts

For the local donation and for each campaign, you decide which amounts are offered on the screen: up to three fixed amounts and, if you like, a custom amount that donors enter themselves. The amounts are in the donation's form under Amounts.

Fixed amounts

• Each fixed amount is a tile on the screen that donors can tap.
• Under Amount, enter the sum in euros, for example 20 or 12.50.
• Under Label, you can add a short text, for example “A hot meal”. It appears above the amount on the screen. This field is optional.
• The Add fixed amount button adds another fixed amount. More than three fixed amounts aren't possible.
• The cross next to an amount removes it.

Custom amount

The Custom amount switch lets donors enter a sum themselves. On the screen, this tile is called “Any amount”.

• Minimum is the smallest amount someone can enter. The suggested value is €5.
• Maximum is optional. If the field is left empty, donors can enter up to €10,000. That's why the empty field shows “up to 10,000”.
• The maximum amount can't be lower than the minimum amount or the highest fixed amount. Otherwise, the Studio reports an error.

At least one fixed amount or the custom amount must be offered. If the list shows “No amount” for a donation, nobody can donate to it.

Who can change amounts

Only “Owner” and “Finance” can change amounts. Anyone who may manage text and images but not amounts sees them in the form with the note View only. That person can still save the title, description and image. The amounts stay unchanged.

Tips

• The preview shows the tiles just as the screen displays them. It changes with every entry you make.
• Write amounts with cents using a decimal point, for example 7.50.
