Download your account data
Privacy and securityYou download the details of your account yourself, at any time and without having to ask us.
How it works
- Step 1: Open Settings › Privacy.
- Step 2: Next to Data export, click Export.
You'll receive a ZIP file with your profile details, your recent sign-ins and other details of your account. The files in it are machine-readable so that you can reuse them.
A community's data
Your community's details aren't in this file. The owner downloads them in the community's settings. See Download all of the community's data. You save other data separately:
- Donations: in Reports with Export CSV. See Export donations as a CSV file.
- Prayer times you maintain yourself: under Prayer times with Save as CSV. See Enter prayer times yourself.

- How long does SadaqaNow keep data?SadaqaNow deletes some data after fixed periods, while other data stays until it's deleted or is kept permanently as a record. Here's the overview.
- Where is your data stored?According to our privacy policy, we process your data on servers in Germany. For payments, signing in with Google and videos in the Help Centre, we work with a few partners.
- What data is generated when someone donates at the screen?Donors don't need an account. SadaqaNow learns the amount, time and campaign, but no card details.
- What do screenshots of the screens show, and how long are they kept?A screenshot shows what a screen is displaying at that moment. Find out who can request one, when none is taken and when it's deleted.
- Who in your community can see what?Only certain roles see confidential details. Here's who sees donations, invoices, tax details, the team, the activity log and screenshots.
