Resume the subscription
Billing and pricingYou can resume an ended subscription at any time. Your screens then run again, without having to be paired again and with the template they showed before. Only the community's owner can resume the subscription.
How to recognise an ended subscription
A subscription ends after a cancellation or if a payment never arrives. Then:
- The Studio shows the “Subscription ended.” banner. It says that the screens are switched off and that the community, its data and donation receipts (Zuwendungsbestätigung) are kept.
- The screens in the mosque show “This screen is temporarily out of service. Donations are not possible here at the moment.”
- Under Screens and on the overview, each screen shows Switched off with the note “Subscription ended”. Instead of the template, the preview shows “Außer Betrieb” (Out of service).
- Under Settings › Billing, your community's status shows Subscription ended with the date.
How to resume the subscription
- Step 1: Click Resume subscription. You'll find the button in the “Subscription ended.” banner, in your community's row under Settings › Billing and under Screens in place of Add screen.
- Step 2: Pay on the payment page of our payment provider, Stripe.
- Step 3: You return to Billing. The Studio shows “Subscription resumed”, and the screens switch back on within the next few minutes.
If the payment hasn't been confirmed yet, the Studio shows “The payment hasn't been confirmed yet”. The screens then switch on as soon as the confirmation arrives.
What you pay afterwards
You pay the monthly price for your current number of screens, and at least the base package. Screens you've cancelled don't count. You can see the amount beforehand on the Cancel page in the Subscription row. You open the page from the three dots in your community's row with Cancel screens.
What applies until then
- The community, its data and donation receipts are kept. You can keep using the Studio.
- New screens can't be created or paired. In place of Add screen, it says “The subscription has ended. Resume it to add or pair screens.”
- You can still request screenshots of the screens. They show what's really on display there.
- A community whose subscription has ended isn't deleted automatically.
Only the owner
Only the owner can resume the subscription. Everyone else sees the note “Only the owner can resume the subscription.”
